Introducing solid foods into your baby’s diet can be very stressful sometimes. Every mother has thought at least once that she no longer has any idea what to prepare for a baby who is still not allowed to eat a lot of food. The best rule is to listen to your baby and be very simple in preparing food. Babies do not have a developed sense of salt and sweet, so there is absolutely no need to worry about whether their food will be “untasty”. Each new food is a completely new experience for such a small organism, so do not rush.
Younger babies can also eat this biscuit because all the ingredients that go into it can be introduced into the diet even earlier. Its structure is such that it melts in your mouth, which is why it is very easy to eat. Still, be careful when giving it to your baby. It is safest to pick smaller pieces for her or to give her to bite them out of your hand.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg yolk
- 60ml coconut oil
- 120g Schär Mix It flour or rice flour
- 60g of cornflour
- 20g brown sugar
- 60g bananas
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients and make the dough.
- Make 25g balls from the dough.
- Push each ball with the finger into the middle.
- Put the cookies on baking paper.
- Bake 20 minutes at 220ºC.
You can keep the biscuit in a paper bag or metal box for 2 to 3 days. After that, do not give it to the baby, but you are free to eat it. One biscuit a day is enough for your baby. A baby at this age should have 3 nutritious meals a day. This cookie can be more something like fun and a chewing exercise for her.
These cookies are great treats for older kids too. You can add some chopped chocolate or cocoa powder for extra taste. Also, dry fruit is very welcome to this recipe.
