Bread soup doesn’t differ much from other regular soups, it is just served differently. First of all you need to make a dough. These are steps how to make it:
Ingredients:
100 ml water
1 tsp yeast
50 g butter
1 egg yolk
200 g flour
Mix all the ingredients and knead the dough. Use a baking bowl as a mold. Stretch the dough and place it in a baking bowl covering all the edges. Bake it 20 to 30 minutes at 250ºC.
Meanwhile make the soup. You can actually make the soup from any vegetable you want. This time I made it from:
onion
carrot
potato
parsnip
zucchini
Place all the vegetables in a cooking bowl. Add 0,5 l water and season to taste. Cook it for about 20 to 30 minutes. When all the vegetables become soft, add 1 tbsp of sour cream and use a blender to mix all the ingredients. Place the soup into the bread covered bowl and serve.
You can grate a Parmesan cheese on the top while the soup is still hot. You will get totally new dimension of taste.
